Submitting News to KYHAM
Thank you for supporting KYHAM's mission to share news from your area with the Kentucky amateur radio community. Before you submit your article, please understand the following guidelines.

Remember to include the five W's of journalism: Who, What, When, Where, and Why!

Just the facts please. KYHAM's mission is to report. It doesn't have an editorial or opinion page.

Submissions should be spell-checked and and proofread for content before submission. If blatant errors are found, I will edit them in the spirit of good presentation, but responsibility for accuracy, grammar, and spelling is ultimately yours.

Less is sometimes more. If the news demands it, any length of article is fine. Keep in mind that web browsing is an impatient pastime for most users. The more condensed the information is the more likely the reader will "stay with the story."

Submit your copy in plain text format in the body of an email addressed to

If you have photos to submit, please send them as high resolution as possible in JPG format. If necessary, they will be cropped and sized as we lay out the pages. Don't forget to include captions for each photo in your email.
